About the Retreat
An Immersive Family Journey of Purpose, Presence & Connection
There is no experience that enriches the soul and mind like travel. Exposure to the world connects us to ourselves and others in a unique way. When we travel, discover new places and cultures, we are forever changed with a deeper world view.
With this in mind, Bhante Sujatha and Sanatha Suwaya are thrilled to offer a meaningful adventure for families and young people. Our vision is to create a bridge for youth to travel with their families into an environment where they’ll witness the world like never before through mindful interaction, joyful presence, and compassionate service.
This 10-day retreat is more than sightseeing. It is a deeply immersive journey that blends travel with mindfulness, cultural exchange, and compassionate action. Under Bhante’s guidance, participants will travel across Sri Lanka, interact with local communities, taste vibrant foods, learn about ancient cultures, and engage in meaningful service and spiritual practice all while strengthening the bond between family members.
